Applicant must be a junior or senior at the time of the award, majoring in or studying politics or history. Non-renewable scholarship of up to $1,000.

University of Washington

Agnes C. Nelson Memorial Scholarship

Annual awards for undergraduate students attending the University of Washington who are majoring in Economics or Political Science with a demonstrated interest in both fields. Students must have financial need, a minimum 3.2 GPA, have taken at least 25 credits in economics and political science with a minimum of 10 credits in each department, earned at least 75 credits by the end of spring quarter, and have filed a Financial Aid Form (FAF). H. Paul Castleberry Scholarship

Scholarship for a political science major (sophomore, junior, or senior) maintaining no less than a 3.0 grade point average.

Claudius O. Johnson Memorial Scholarship in Political Science

Scholarship for juniors or seniors; based on scholastic excellence, character, and need.

Judges Thomas and Marshall Neill Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship for pre-law majors in political science. Students must be deserving of financial need, a full-time student, and making satisfactory progress toward a degree.

William F. Mullen Undergraduate Scholarship

Scholarship for a declared political science major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has not reached graduating senior status by the time of selection. Special consideration will be given to those who emphasize ethnic politics or practical (electoral) politics. A statement of intent concerning interests, future goals, and an indication of financial need is required.

Jack B. Gabbert Scholarship

Scholarship for those who have demonstrated scholastic excellence and outstanding character in political science.

Morris Reed Scholarship

Those who are studying political science demonstrating satisfactory academic progress. May be renewable, based on progress.

William M. Landeen & Claudius O. Johnson Scholarship

Scholarship for those interested or majored in political science or history. Based on financial need and merit.

Frank T. Post Scholarship

Scholarship based on scholastic excellence, character, and financial need. Preference will be given to current sophomores and juniors. Eligibility normally limited to pre-law majors or those who are clearly in preparation for law school.
