Income from endowment, established by parents and friends of Heidi Allen, awarded to a student with financial need who is a political science major.
Income from endowment for a scholarship awarded annually to a junior or senior majoring in economics, journalism, history, or political science on the basis of academic average (3.80 or better) and demonstrated financial need. Recipient selected by the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in consultation with the student financial aid office.

The Rhode Island Bar Foundation’s Thomas F. Black, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1989 to support and foster high legal practice standards by assisting Rhode Island residents who show promise that they will become outstanding lawyers and who need financial assistance to study law. The scholarship is a one year, non-renewable award, for full-time students who are Rhode Island residents who will be entering their first year of law school. Two scholarships in the amount of $10,000.00 each will be awarded.
