These scholarships seeks to attract students of color enrolled as full-time students as an undergraduate at the University of Southern Maine to careers in media, especially print journalism. Other possible areas include writing, editing, reporting, marketing, finance, and public relations. Applications, in particular, are welcome from USM students majoring in business administration, communication, English, history, media studies, and political science.
