Criteria:
Political Science Department will select the recipient.
- Preference to Junior or Senior
- Political Science major or minor
- Full time student enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per term
- GPA 3.0 or higher.
The LeRoy Goodwin Scholarship
Dr. LeRoy Goodwin served as Public Relations Director at FLC from 1957 to 1964. From 1964 until his retirement in 1988, he taught in the Political Science Department. During his tenure, he established the Fort Lewis College Legislative Intern Program and was instrumental in influencing students to become politically active. Former students who are now successful attorneys, businessmen, political consultants, teachers, bankers, etc. credit Dr. Goodwin for making a positive difference in their lives.
