iPad Giveaway Winners Announced!

iPad HoldFebruary 22, 2010 – Washington, DC

The results are finally in! PoliticsUnder30 has finally gotten in touch with all the winners of our iPad Giveaway contest and now we are ready to announce the lucky 3.  To start off, our grand prize iPad-winner was:

Taylor Sherwood

He is from Grants Pass, Oregon- a small town close to the CA border. He is 20 years old and staff for Allen Alley running for the Republican ticket for Governor of Oregon. He is working as their Director of the southern Oregon district serving 6 counties.  He is enrolled at BYU-Idaho studying Political Science where he served as the Chairman of the BYU- Idaho College Republicans his second semester there.

His aspirations are somewhere in the ball park for the White House, which would be great.  He hasn’t ruled out being a candidate himself, but as for now he enjoys the behind the scenes work of staff to get their candidate in front of the people and into their office of choice.  He has been campaigning since 14 with the Bush re-election campaign, the reason? “Nothing is more exciting to me than traveling all over the district ( whether it’s a county, the state, or the nation) and meeting a thousand different people from all walks of life cheering for your “guy” on stage.”
