Julianna Smoot is the most successful Democratic fundraiser of all time. She managed Barack Obama’s campaign finance team to beat the power of the Clinton campaign, and then on to victory in the general election. When we had the opportunity to interview her, I was ecstatic. We compiled the highlights and most useful parts of her interview. The one thing I took away was how kind and personable she was. They say that successful fundraising is about developing relationships, and after speaking with Julianna, I am sure the saying is true.
